This course is designed to equip the Fixed Wing Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or unlicensed Aircraft Technician with the majority of the knowledge requirement for their chosen role.
This course is aimed at those people wishing to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the military aeronautical mechanical engineering sector.
Delegates must have a minimum International English Language Testing System (IELTS) certification of 4.5 average with a 4.0 minimum for each pillar.
64 Training Weeks (25-contact hour’s p/w).

Unit 210- Maintaining Avionic and Electrical Systems in Aircraft (mandatory)
Unit 215- Aviation Mathematics and Science (mandatory)
Unit 111- Working Safely with Aircraft Armament Systems (elective)
A combination consisting of formative and summative theory/practical assessments.
