This course is designed to provide delegates with the basic underpinning theoretical knowledge required for the category A role and to provide basic skills and maintenance practices training to establish basic practical competence. The approved course must be followed by a minimum of 1 year’s practical line maintenance experience to consolidate the training received prior to licence application.
This course is aimed at delegates who work, or want to work in the aeronautical engineering sector across a range of roles and career routes. It allows delegates to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the aeronautical engineering sector as a Cat A1 Licenced Aircraft Engineer.
Delegates must have a minimum International English Language Testing System (IELTS) certification of 4.5
43 Training Weeks (25-contact hour’s p/w).
This course caters for a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 16 delegates.
