This course is designed to equip the Fixed Wing Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or unlicensed Aircraft Technician with the majority of the knowledge requirement for their chosen role.
This course is aimed at those people wishing to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the military aeronautical mechanical engineering sector.
Delegates must have a minimum International English Language Testing System (IELTS) certification of 4.5 average with a 4.0 minimum for each pillar
64 Training Weeks (25-contact hour’s p/w).

Unit 204- Structural Materials and Components in Aircraft (mandatory)
Unit 205- Maintaining Aircraft Structures (mandatory)
Unit 207- Maintaining Gas Turbine Engines and Propellers (optional unit 2)
Unit 215- Aviation Mathematics and Science (mandatory)
Unit 218- Maintaining Military Aircraft Mechanical Systems (optional unit 1)
A combination consisting of formative and summative theory/practical assessments.
