Course Overview:

This course is designed to equip the Fixed Wing Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or unlicensed Aircraft Technician with the majority of the knowledge requirement for their chosen role.

Target Audience:

This course is aimed at those people wishing to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the civil aeronautical mechanical engineering sector.


Delegates must have a minimum International English Language Testing System (IELTS) certification of 4.5 average with a 4.0 minimum for each pillar.

Course Duration:

64 Training Weeks (25-contact hour’s p/w).
This course caters for a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 12 delegates.

    Unit 204- Structural Materials and Components in Aircraft (mandatory)
  • Unit 205- Maintaining Aircraft Structures (mandatory)
    Unit 206- Maintaining Aircraft Mechanical Systems 
    Unit 207- Maintaining Gas Turbine Engines and Propellers
    Unit 215- Aviation Mathematics and Science (mandatory)


A combination consisting of formative and summative theory/practical assessments.
